Curriculum

Most of the courses of DHCSS are academic courses and include some graduate courses. Undergraduate courses consist of liberal arts mandatory courses including English, essay, sports and courses for first-year students such as “Enjoyable College Life” and “Exciting College Life”; humanities and social sciences electives in three categories of humanities, social sciences, and literature and arts; and self-design electives. Liberal arts mandatory courses are compulsory courses for all undergraduate students to foster basic capabilities necessary for college life and overall life. The elective courses in humanities and social sciences comprise a wide range of courses designed to help undergraduates have better understanding and deeper insights in human beings, society and the world, which each student may choose as they like.
