2. 지원자격
- 모집 분야의 박사학위 소지자 또는 박사학위 취득예정자 
  ※ 단, 박사학위 취득예정자는 최종논문심사에 통과(2차 심사시 증빙서류 제출)된 자로서 임용일 (2021년 3월 예정) 전에 박사학위 취득이 가능해야 함.
- 영어강의 및 타학과(부)와 겸임으로 융합연구 가능자
- 국제전문학술지(SCI, SSCI, A&HCI, SCOPUS) 논문 게재 실적 보유자 (제1저자 또는 교신저자에 한함; 인문학 분야는 우수 단독저서 실적도 가능)
- 사회학 분야는 지식사회학, 과학기술사회학, 의료 및 보건사회학 분야 연구자
- 철학 분야는 Epistemology 등 AI 관련 연구자
- Digital Humanities 분야는 Data Visualization, Narrative Analysis 관련 연구자

3. 결격사유
- 국가공무원법 제33조의 각 호의 하나에 해당하는 자
- 법률에 의하여 공민권이 정지 또는 박탈된 자
- 신체검사결과 채용실격으로 판정된 자
- 병역의무를 기피한 사실이 있는 자
- 아동·청소년의 성보호에 관한 법률 제56조에 의해 취업제한 명령을 받은 자

4. 전형절차/방법
- 1차: 서류심사
- 2차: 심층심사
- 3차: 학과(부) 교원인사심의회 심의
- 4차: 단과대학 교원인사심의회 및 교원인사위원회 심의 후 최종 임용 결정
       (정년보장 부교수 및 교수 채용 시 교원인사위원회 심의)

8. 기타 사항

Four Tenure-Track Faculty Positions at KAIST


The School of Humanities and Social Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Convergence Science at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) invites applications for four tenure-track positions in the areas of (1) Sociology, (2) Philosophy, (3) Social Psychology, (4) Digital Humanities. We are looking for scholars in these fields with tangible prospects of interdisciplinary research conducted in close partnership with engineering and natural science fields. Faculty appointment is scheduled to begin in March 2021.

     We are particularly interested in junior scholars of outstanding promise, who have experience in developing interdisciplinary research programs in line with the mission of the institution. Successful candidates should have a doctorate in her/his relevant discipline by the time of appointment, a strong publication record which includes SSCI or A&HCI publications, and should be able to provide evidence of excellence in teaching.

     KAIST is an internationally ranked and renowned research university based in Daejeon, South Korea. As a rapidly expanding global institution, KAIST mandates English as the primary language of instruction. Salaries and benefits are comparable to those of major research universities in the U.S., and negotiable depending on qualifications.
